As much as I wanna love Star Rail and watch Necrit's videos sugarcoating the game (for all the right reasons too) I just can't play the AFK simulator where the boss battle feels worse than grinding Elite enemies in Genshin for 3 hours a day.
On that topic of grinding Elite enemies, I definitely prefer grinding Echoes in open world cause it's still fun doing all your combat stuff when you have nothing better to do and it's exactly the same as grinding elite enemies in genshin for 8% chance to get 3-4* artifact, but in WuWa u actually get 5* echoes.
On the topic of 5 star selector in Genshin.... nah XD What would u choose from it? Even if they did it, it is TOO late for it. Mona for booba? Qiqi for... clorinde lol? Or diluc with his burst having same full length movie just like Calcharo when u swap back to him during Liberation after doing a perfect dodge/counter. In short, there're no 5* standard banner characters that are good in Genshin. Even getting cons for something like Diluc with Xianyun is a waste because 4.0+ characters exist that increase NA lvl on their 3rd or 5th con.
I started playing Genshin around 1 year ago, quit for ~2 months after losing every 50/50 I could on Neuvillette banner and his weapon and then came back because of the story, Lyre and housing system. There's too may systems for casual players in Genshin that no other game has. (that said I'm not a casual. I'm heavily invested in optimizing characters. etc. etc. just at some point when u get good teams it doesn't matter what u optimize when u can clear every single abyss no matter what) Or well... ff14? I've played through all ff14 until and including beginning of Endwalker. Genshin's story is simply better. Every character is very well written even some characters I hated and never cared about I still did their story quest and it could touch my feelings.
That being said, ever since I started playing WuWa I see no reason to play Genshin. I already have 4 teams for abyss in Genshin. Spending any more money on the game is simply a waste of it since I can already clear everything. And spending any more time farming Elite enemies is just a waste of my time, while I can go to work, come back home, farm lots of Echoes before going to bed and get some good electro dmg% piece for my Yinlin or Calcharo within same session without looking at my resin and being depressed, waiting for it to turn 20 so I can go do another session of doomscrolling on Wanderer's or Lyney's domain.
The fact that Kuro Games listens to its players is another huge factor of me wanting to stay with WuWa and hope for the better. Seeing Genshin's Lantern Rite and how devs straight up did not care a single bit about the controversy and people's opinions was a low blow. Seeing a game from the same company (HSR) do much better job at providing new innovative mechanics and content compared to genshin's same thing over and over again is another low blow. Even on official forums HSR people were making fun of genshin players and the way SAME COMPANY just different management treats them.
At the end of the day... I'll probably still do some genshin story once I'll get bored with WuWa. Then will do WuWa grinding and story (hopefully it'll get better). Then once I'll get bored with WuWa again I'll just go back to genshin to play on Lyre and transfer some songs to Genshin's C major. I hope that Kuro Games continue listening to players feedback and add lots of cool casual stuff... not even for casuals, but for players who're bored with game. I can't even tell how many hours I've spent just simply playing Lyre in Genshin or decorating my Teapot.

Who TF grinds elites in Genshin wtf? You only grind elites for their materials. Overworld artifact farm is done through artifact farm routes and you don't fight anything to do it (and no one other than mintpickers do it).@mosye27 วันที่ผ่านมา
@@lewsee5562 right. It's 3-4*. I forgot. I did both. Interactible points route and then elite enemies if I felt like it.

@@mosye You farm elites and go for artifact routes in Genshin for more exp fodder on your artifacts. It's not required to do that and it's a recipe for burnout (and it actually happened on your case so uh... that's a self-fulfilling prophecy).
WuWa may allow you to farm echoes in overworld, but you're still gated by echo exp and tuners, which is only obtainable through events and tacet fields. I have multiple on-set 3 cost echoes from overworld farming but I can't level them up because I'm out of echo exp and tuners.
Regardless, both games still gate your gearing progress on a stamina system.@mosye27 วันที่ผ่านมา

But that whole comment about overworld farming was mainly cause I saw someone in twitch chat say that they rather play osrs than hsr and in my case I always told people is I rather kill elite enemies in genshin that do a battle in hsr cause the gameplay is not appealing to me, despite everyone saying how good and fun the game is.
Afaik kuro gonna change either how much exp required to lvl up or give more exp in tacet Fields as a response to people's concerns. And if it indeed does get better, wuwa's way of handling echoes is much better than genshin's artifacts in my opinion. Especially a year into the game when everyone is just minmaxing everything. It's much easier getting a base for your 3 cost, lvl it to 5 and see if u have offensive stat.

@@mosye Its bad translation they'll just increase the echo exp rewards FOR EVENTS. there is already a complain about it that in CN version it was about event's not overall echo exp gain. And yeah. You just simply burned out for a GACHA game. My lad just find any other service game or single player games for you timespending because gacha games is never ment to played like you did for both genshin and wuwa. You will find youself in patch 1.2 or 1.3 with full loaded 1000\1000 usefull echoes and will feel the same sh*t as you felt for genshin. Because both game stamina gated, both games will eventually run out of content till you get new patch etc.
